Students applying for Bachelor of Science (Nursing) C33.8 who hold current registration in an AHPRA recognised country (Canada, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, United Kingdom, Unites States and also includes Australian AHPRA Division 1 Nursing Registration)* may be eligible for 16 units of Credit and Recognition of Prior Learning (CRPL). 

Students applying for Bachelor of Science (Nursing) C33.8 who hold current registration in a non-AHPRA recognised country and provide evidence of either of the following:

  • practice as a Registered Nurse within the last 5 years, or
  • completion of their Nursing Bachelor Degree within the last 5 years.

Students from a non-AHPRA recognised country will have to complete the International Adaptation Program.

Credit is not typically awarded for study or work experience over 5 years ago.

*Should the nursing registration have a notation or limitation applied, any potential CRPL is subject to further review.
