Up to 15 units (225 Credit Points) of advanced standing may be awarded into the K89.7 Bachelor of Science (Paramedical Science) for Paramedics from the following organisations with a current Authority to Practice and a minimum of 5 years service:
St John Ambulance WA, St John Ambulance NT, Queensland Ambulance, NSW Ambulance, Ambulance Victoria, Tasmanian Ambulance Service, South Australian Ambulance Service and ACT Ambulance Service.
Appropriate evidence must be submitted in support of these requirements and students with additional experience relevant to units other than those detailed will need to submit an application for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and address the specific learning outcomes for each additional unit requested. Additional supporting evidence may be required.
Maximum credit awarded will be subject to the maximum credit permitted in accordance with the ECU Advanced Standing Policy.
